1.1 - SUSTAINABLE STAFFING

      Recruit, develop, and retain a capable and qualified IT workforce to support and extend the capabilities and capacities of campus IT services in the face of growing external competition and limited budget.

     

      1.2 - NEXT-GENERATION ENTERPRISE IT

      Continue to develop and maintain an IT infrastructure with an emphasis on agility, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and effective analytics. Establish a robust information technology infrastructure for the provisioning, delivery, and management of information systems and services to meet the current and future needs of the college. Identify and accelerate adoption of public and private cloud opportunities.

     

      1.3 - INFORMATION SECURITY

      Develop a holistic, agile approach to reduce institutional exposure to information security threats through a combination of information security awareness training and promotion as well as developing systems, applications, processes, and procedures to protect campus data and resources.

2.1 - BUSINESS PROCESSES

      Optimize campusĀ­-wide business process to achieve optimal organizational/operational efficiencies.

     

      2.2 - APPLICATIONS

      Modernize key applications to ensure that they are user-friendly, secure, and sustainable. Identify opportunities to supplement or replace ineffective or inefficient processes and/or applications.

     

      2.3 - DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF LEARNING

      Enable teaching and learning to accelerate student success by developing and supporting an easy to use, effective and modern learning ecosystem.

      Provide exceptional customer service and support.

      Implement a campus-wide benchmark for technology proficiency supported by internal and external professional development programs

     

      3.3 - EMPOWERED USERS

      Foster a culture of empowerment within ITS and amongst users to raise the level of support provided by ITS.

4.1 - STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

      Establish and execute an effective and collaborative strategy for IT decision-making and communication. Develop, document, publish, and implement a comprehensive IT Governance / Strategic Planning vision. Further develop partnerships within the College Technology Committee (CTC).

     

      4.2 - OPTIMIZED AND SUSTAINABLE FUNDING

      Develop IT funding models that sustain core services, support innovation, and facilitate growth.

     

      4.3 - DATA-INFORMED DECISION MAKING

      Continue to develop opportunities to better share and summarize institutional data with key campus decision-makers. Ensure timely, accurate, and convenient access to relevant and meaningful data summaries.

     

      4.4 - DATA MANAGEMENT AND GOVERNANCE

      Develop procedures and processes to ensure that institutional data is accurately and securely maintained and appropriately shared.
