Proposed actions to achieve goal: In order to increase corporate and foundation funding, I will increase outreach to potential corporate and foundation supporters. As part of this effort, I will develop relationships with key faculty and staff to identify funding needs and develop proposals. I will also conduct research to develop a list of prospects and solicit gifts on behalf of the College. Solicitations will be made via grant proposals, face-to-face visits, and other communications.
Expected Results: In FY18, I expect to make 12-20 corporate and foundation solicitations during off-peak event months. Over the last four years, I have submitted the following number of corporate and foundation grant proposals: FY17 - 11 (expected by fiscal year end); FY16 - 13; FY15 - 3 (I was on disability for 6 months during this year); and, FY14 - 11.
