We need to continue to promote and strengthen the Accounting program to attract students who are in the process of choosing a major. The enrollment for the Accounting program has decreased slightly in recent years. There is a need to maintain a focused effort to encourage more students to choose an Accounting major.
|
There is a need to open up additional sections of the introductory courses in Computer Information Systems. Existing faculty members teach undergraduate and MBA level courses, as well as courses that are cross-listed with Business Analytics. One faculty member also has administrative responsibilities. We need to hire additional instructors due to the increased number of students taking CIS classes and limited faculty resources.
