  • Apply understanding of leadership theory, emphasizing Jesuit leadership principles, to own leadership philosophy. (Learning Outcome 2)
  • Identify conceptual frameworks within organizational leadership development. (Learning Outcome 3)

Required Artifacts:

  • 2 pictures you submitted to Taskstream on leadership
  • Cajita of Leadership Picture 
  • At least 1-2 additional artifacts that are related to your understanding of leadership theory in relation to your own leadership philosophy (example list below)
    • Social identity wheel from class or elsewhere 
    • 1-2 new pictures representing your understanding of leadership at the end of the semester
    • Papers, projects, or presentations from a major or core class related to leadership and/or Jesuit principles
    • Projects or presentations conducted for your academic internship related to leadership and/or Jesuit principles
    • Websites or other links related to your academic and/or internship experience related to leadership and/or Jesuit principles
    • Other articles, books, or resources related to your internship experience related to leadership and/or Jesuit principles
    • Relevant photos, videos, etc. related to leadership and/or Jesuit principles
    • Other related to leadership and/or Jesuit principles

Reflection on Artifacts (500 words minimum):

  • What is your philosophy of leadership? Has your philosophy of leadership evolved throughout your academic internship experience? Why or why not? 
  • How have the leadership theories studied in class relate or do not relate to your leadership philosophy? (Cite 1-2 theories from Exploring Leadership article from class.)
  • How has the Engaged Learning experience helped (or not helped) you to connect to Loyola’s mission of, “We are Chicago's Jesuit Catholic university- a diverse community seeking God in all things and working to expand knowledge in the service of humanity through learning, justice, and faith.”
  • How will you integrate and relate your philosophy of leadership to future academic and/or professional experiences? 

 Cite at least 1-2 EXPL 390 readings within the reflection and make reference to your learning artifacts.
