TITLE: Bion
CREATOR: Adam Brown
LOCATION: Muesuem installment
Bion is an array of small synthesized life forms called bions. These small artificial life forms are suspended from the ceiling with gauge wire and are set at different heights and depths. The bions are made of LEDs and small speakers, These components create flashing and chirping sounds. The array reacts to onlookers like many living organisms. At first they become shy and with this reaction become silent. Then they grow accustomed to the onlookers and chirp vividly and glow in different ways depending on the person's reaction(person getting closer or farther). This works because Bions are able to communicate to each other, this means that if one senses(multiple sensors-Infrared/heat sensor) a person it will communicate this information to all of them and begin their reactions.

Title: The Scream
By: Edvard Munch
Location: The Munch Mueseum and the National Gallery of Norway
The painting features a man who appears to be shrieking endlessly or protecting his ears from a scream. The painter meant it to be both. In the background of the painting the sky is red which could mean any number of things. The artist stated that it was actual blood. This and the way the character in the foreground look seem to show that he has some sort of anxiety that he is releasing with the scream. People believe that it is his fear of death. The painter said that as he walked along the path(the bridge) he began to feel sick and bent over the rails of the bridge. His explanation for his pain at the moment was that he felt an "infinite scream passing through nature".
