I elected to display this lesson plan along side this standard because it is a Math lesson plan, but also because I taught this lesson, so I know how students respond to it in the classroom. This lesson exhibits many of the math standards, and can be used in different grade levels across upper elementary, but it can also be altered for lower elementary school. Although this lesson does not integrate other subjects it easily could by altering it ever so slightly. 

I chose this lesson plan first, because I did not write it myself. I had the assistance of my group members so I know that it is done right and to the full extent of the requirements. I also chose this lesson plan to display because I had the opportunity to teach it in class to my peers and I know how students respond to it. I was able to really see this as a learning experience and learn what it is like to have to alter a lesson to fit what the class is able to comprehend. Performing this lesson was a learning experience i will never forget, which is why I believe it fits with this standard. Though it may not show on paper, this lesson has taught me as much as I was able to teach my students during it.
