Enrollment -- enrollment in the Career Center's Automotive Technology program has been steadily increasing over the past four years (from 48 to 85 students in the program), and is approaching the 16 student per class benchmark set by the system.

Dual-Enrollment
--both Automotive Technology instructors have become certified as Adjunct Instructors at Northern Virginia Community College;
  Automotive Technology is one of only six program areas at the school to achieve this.

Local CTE Exemplary Evaluation Program
--Automotive Technology fulfilled all requirements for Exemplary review in 2007-2008, and was recognized as an "Exemplary" CTE Program in the spring of 2009.

We do not have the ASE and NOCTI statistics for other Automotive Technology programs in the states, though we would be interested in knowing these pass rates.

Already we know that we would like to increase the number of our program completers taking each exam, as well as the percentage of program completers passing NOCTI.
