Context: This portfolio was created for the class, CI 3750, Integrating Media and Technology into Teaching, in the Spring of 2007. I created the assignment under the advisement of Jeff Goodman.

Impact: The overall portfolio project will help me in the future when I become an elementary teacher. My portfolio contains documents that I have completed throughout my college career that will assit me when I become a teacher. I have created assignments and provided models and examples for my students. For example, the story pictures assignment and the video project that one day I can use in my class. I have other helpful items such as a classroom web page, culture report, classroom newsletter, research, and observations I conducted while interning which will help me in the future.

I- Technology operations and concepts

A- Demonstrate introductory knowledge, skills, and understanding of concepts related to technology.

I met this standard by acquiring, learning, and practicing skills. For example, how to use a digital camera, how to type up statements and assignments in word processing using word, how to build my own classroom web page, and how to make a video using a camcorder and the program Movie to complete the assignments in my portfolio.
