Teacher standards of NBPTS

NBPTS “<st1:State w:st="on"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">Arizona</SPAN></st1:State> teachers with a current or new certificates must participate in 180 hours of professional development activities in order to renew their standard certificates during each valid six-year period. National Board Certification is recognized as having met the requirements for a standard certificate in the corresponding educational area in <st1:State w:st="on">Arizona</st1:State>, and as a means of meeting the professional growth requirement for renewal.”(NBPTS, 2008)
