I received my training in CPR/First Aid while being an employee at the Birmingham Zoo. We spent an entire day in classes learning about CPR and First Aid. I feel it is very beneficial for me to know how to do both CPR and First Aid. My profession takes several students on trips weekly in the Fall semester and I feel it is necessary for at least one teacher or chaperone to know CPR and First Aid. In this course we talked about several topics about running a music program. It is amazing how many different things are involved behind the scenes in a music program. Attached below is a band handbook I created as part of this course.
