Excellence

ESFP were the letters in MBTI personality type. I think this fits me perfectly with my career in mind because this personality test told me I was caring, outgoing, passionate, and very friendly. I would like to say that I am all these things and I would also like to say that I think going into special education and hoping to have the impact that I want to have on the kids requires this type of personality. The strengths that I have from my letters are “the sympathetic and friendly kind”, “focuses attention on facts which they handle with personal warmth”, “does good in social and service-oriented work environments”, “peoples health care and feelings matter”, and lastly, “putting others before myself.” All of these strengths and aspects are found in between the lines of my mission statement. Helping and inspiring others, putting them first, is a requirement for my career choice and I plan to live up to it in all I do in the work field.

My main point is to have integrity while I work and I think with my mindset now that I have the integrity I need. I went on a mission trip to Uganda, my freshmen year in high school and that really shows I really believe this personal statement for me is correct without a doubt. I helped the volunteers and workers, who were already there, help care for the babies. When I wasn't helping with the babies I was helping repair the old, raggedy baby cottage itself whether it was fixing cracked walls or painting. It all had to be done. It was a very humbling experience and after being there, even during it, its hard not to have a compassionate and giving personality.
