At this point in time I believe I my major picked out for the most part and I honestly believe it is something I want to do with my life for the rest of it. At the beginning of the course I was planning on being an endocrinologist and working with diabetic patients, however I had to disregard that idea and start from scratch in something I feel confident in and happy with. IUPUI does not offer the requirements I need to become an endocrinologist and that is why I had to discard that dream. I can say that i’m not too terrible upset by it because I found one of my many passions in teaching special education. I plan to get a certificate in special education due to the fact thats the only way I can go about and work in that major but it’s what I want to do. Kids with special needs and just kids in general are the factor that I have been focused on. I want to help those with special needs see how special they are and that they can do anything they want. I am inspired to help people and make a difference in this world, that is the biggest factor in my choice of special education as my major.
