Target

I have had previous part times, not to mention I have one now, but there have accurately described and aligned with my “compatible work environment” from my holland code tip sheet. I need a work environment that is fast paced, that allows me to work with others, gives off my opportunities, and is highly structured. My job now, my previous job, and my job in the future will match up this criteria because I believe they are the best fit for me. The one career that was a match to me was a teacher and that was the option I have chosen to be my career in the future. I can say that I am excited to move forward with this and I am excited to see where it leads me. Hopefully, in the near future I will be able to decide if it is the best fit for me. I am excited to study and look into special education more and I pray that this is my calling but I will continue to explore other majors as a fall back plan if it doesn't pass out.

One career that popped up as a possible match for me from the Holland Code was a doctor and I have to say I do agree because I want to look into endocrinology so I can help others who have diabetes like I do. I know the struggles and the ups and the downs that come with the disease so I wanted to benefit from having it and I want to help others with it because I know its not easy to deal with. I just won’t be able to get my degree in endocrinology because it is not offered here at IUPUI so I can get my doctoral degree but I’d have to transfer to another college to go into any more detail with the diabetes itself. Another degree that I would love to explore would to be a veterinarian. I have loved animals since before I could even walk or talk on my own. I have always wanted to save animals but with success comes failure and I know that so that is why I have decided to look into it but not pursue it. That was always a goal of mine, was to work with animals, or to work with kids. I am however, pursuing my dream to become a teacher in special education, so there's no reason I can’t complete that and look into helping animals too, on the side, as a possibility.
