My name is Olivia Niepsuj. I am currently a sophomore attending Loyola University Chicago on the pre-medicine track. Upon finishing my undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology, I plan on attending medical school and one day serving with Doctors Without Borders or with the United States Armed Forces. I believe it is of upmost importance that as the human race, we understand, empathize, and care for one another. Serving with Global Brigades not only falls in line exactly with what I one day hope to be doing with my life, but it helped establish the connections for breaking down the invisible boundaries drawn on maps to truly understand what it means to be a global citizen.
