Intro to Ed Textbook

Introduction to Education is a course that introduces basic principles and background information on the education system in the United States. This course includes topics such as the history of education, various philosophies, curriculum and instruction, and challenges faced by schools. I think I found this to be a very valuable course as entering into the Educational world. It is an assumption that almost everyone knows most if not everything about education but I realize now that they only have a student's point of view. I learned that teaching is not just playing on the chalkboard in your living room. it is about enriching the lives of the youth in America! I have also learned that teaching takes a great deal of time and effort and I do not believe that most people do not appreciate this.
