Created using TaskStream webpage builder. I used the Usborne Science Encyclopedia with Internet Resources book to help me locate some of the websites listed. I also used Prentice Hall Science Explorer: Earth's Waters to help find materials.
Materials:
This webquest requires computers that have Java, Shockplayer, and Adobe Flash installed. Students will be prompted to install the programs by the websites they visit.
This webquest can be used in conjunction with the textbook "Science Explorer: Earth's Waters" by Prentice Hall. It can be used independently as well.
If used with the Prentice Hall Science Explorer Earth's Water you can have students complete a task as they are working on that section in the book. Task 1 coincides with Chapter 1, Section 1. Task 2 coincides with Chapter 1, Section 2 and section 3. Task 3 coincides with Chapter 3, section 4. Finally task 4 coincides with much of the material in chapter 2.
