Evolution teacher's resources

Please take advantage of this website, but realize that you are best prepared to teach evolution by taking and reading through the course material from PBS.

For Spanish-Speaking students: There is a spanish version of the assignment on the first page, unfortunately there is not a spanish verson of the video, however you can turn on closed captioning to help with translation. Spanish-only students will have difficulty with the activity 2 on lesson 2, and will require a translator to assist them.

For students with special needs, the assignments have the ability to be adapted to any kind of learner. The rubrics can help guide and organize the students and please consider the needs of your individual students when using them. The rubrics can be downloaded and altered in Word if necessary.

For students with language disabilities, they may opt to say their essays orally rather than write them. For the final argument - "How much of this is real science?" your students have the ability to pick a format best suited to their own needs.

Lesson plans are available below.
