I enrolled in Loyola University Chicago after graduating from a public high school in St. Paul, Minnesota. I currently am a student of the Interdisciplinary Honors Program, a Peer Mentor in the Center for Experiential Learning, the Vice President of our campus' LGBTQA student group and did serve as an Orientation Team Leader this past summer. This is also my first year serving our student government (USGA) as a Student Representative on the Student Affairs Committee of the LUC Board of Trustees. Next semester, I am studying abroad at Loyola's Vietnam Center in Ho Chi Minh City and plan on conducting a research project looking at urban environments through art and architectural design while I am there.

After I return from abroad, I plan on participating in a summer internship to help prepare for graduate school. Currently, I am looking at graduate schools that have programs in higher education and student affairs with my NASPA Undergraduate Fellow mentor Sadika Sulaiman Hara, who is the Director of Loyola's Department of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs. My goal is to eventually work in a similar setting, either as a counselor, project manager or coordinator of a LGBTQA student center, service learning initiative or student diversity office.
