YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO ASSEMBLE A 7-SLIDE PRESENTATION - PLEASE KEEP IT TO 7 SLIDES! YOU WILL NOT GET EXTRA CREDIT FOR ADDING ADDITIONAL SLIDES. TAKE NOTE - YOU SHOULD HAVE A TITLE SLIDE AND THEN 5 SLIDES WITH INFORMATION FOLLOWED BY A BIBLIOGRAPHY SLIDE!

Due - Friday, June 8th

This can be done in pairs or solo.

Please pick 1(one) of the following PowerPoint assignments:

1) Pick an African city or country you would like to visit. Pretend you are employed by that countries Bureau of Tourism. You have been asked to give a slide presentation inviting tourists to come for a visit. You should focus on the key features and places to visit.

2) Pretend you work for an African Safari company in Kenya. You have been asked to give a slide presentation about the thrill of a Kenyan Safari. How would you sell a Safari to potential tourists? What type of wildlife can they expect to see?

3) The following animals have been classified as endangered species. Choose one of these animals and assmeble a slide show about that particular species and it's habitat. Explain the threats to its existence and its potential for long-term survival. CHEETAH, GORILLA, MOUNTAIN ZEBRA, BLACK RHINO. If you choose you could do one slide on each species and add a slide on 'Ivory and the African Elephant' to round out the show.

4) You are a doctor just back from a year-long volunteer mission to help fight malnutrition and diseases like Malaria, HIV and the Ebola virus. You have been asked to show a group of medical professionals a slide show about your trip. Please include some details about the suffering you witnessed.

5) You are a photo-journalist and you have just returned from a war-torn country in Africa where rebels are in control and there is a constant state of anarchy. You have been asked to assemble a slide show that shows the chaos and lack of law and order in the country you visited. Please be specific about the country and details of your visit. Who is currently in charge?

Each information slide will be worth 16 points.

Each of the FIVE information slides must have an image, custom animation, color background and a minimum of 3 well-written bullet points.

For the bibliography slide - you must list THREE web sites you used for your research and a hyperlink each slide.

You must also one slide with a full photo background (like I showed you in class). I recommend that this should be your title slide.
