Weighted vests and materials are commonly used in OT practice with children and adolescence.   In 2004, I co-authored two articles about occupational therapists' experiences using weighted vests and how they used them.   In collaboration with her colleague, Heather Moulton, Dr. Olson published two articles about weighted vests,  The use of weighted vests in pediatric occupational therapy practice and  occupational therapists' reported experiences using weighted vests with children with specific developmental disorders.
