My research interests include urban studies, US politics, and 20th century popular culture. My senior thesis in American Studies, titled "Cul-de-sac Culture Within City Limits: Exploring Urban/Suburban Borders in Chicago," allowed me to explore the intersections between people, local governments, and built environments. Additionally, I am an avid reader of Irish and Irish-American history and literature.
