Loyola 4 Chicago

An organization that I have been thrilled to be a part of is Loyola 4 Chicago. My specific service location was at Misercordia, a home for people with developmental disabilities. Once a week we would travel to their campus and spend the evening helping the residents with craft night. They were some of the friendliest men and women I have ever met (with the best jokes too). I hope to one day work as a Physician's Assistant and this service experience connected to that goal by allowing me to interact with and help people on a personal level.
