This photogram is an abstract "self portrait". Each of the three items in this photogram tell much about me and my personality. The fish represents my love for nature and the outdoors, specifically the ocean. This is a large part of my life becuase whenever I am not doing school realted things, I am exploring the woods or swimming in a lake. The ruler going down in increments shows my constant goal to improve myself. This is further enhanced by showing the fish swimming slightly upward. Swimming up from the depths and towards the number one shows my tendancy to only want the best and to improve myself at every chance that I get. The scissors represent my belief that if you fall behind or become stagnant in life, that you will suffer. The scissors represent the constant threat of staying still for the fish and not swimming up to meet his goals. I belive that I successfully showed my personality using this photogram and wouldn't change anything about it if I had to do it again.
