Attendance and Punctuality

I believe that in this class it is essential to come to every single time. By missing even just one 2 and a half hour class you miss a massive amount of information. In this technology course, we are beginners so we need all the guidance we can get in the classroom, which is why I chose to come to class every day.

In addition to showing up to class, it is important to also be on time, and stay for the entire class without leaving early. I have always been punctual in EDU 315.

Positive Disposition

Striving for excellence is a positive quality to have in this class. For project one, Come to the Edge, we were required to create 5 products. I went above and beyond with this and created 7 products because I wanted to dive deeper into technology. I believe that my grade is reflected in the hard work I put into this class.

Technology has many glitches and can be very stressful. When things go wrong, it is important to have a positive attitude. Throughout the semester, there were times when I was stressed about Taskstream. Instead of giving up and quitting, I continued to work hard and master it.

During group work activities, I believe that I actively participated and contributed an equal share. Between weekly posts on Edmodo, creating a video production and making a SMART Board lesson, I contributed greatly to group work. My partners and I also taught a mini-lesson on an iPad app (TED Conferences). When we were introduced to SMART Board, I showcased my knowledge by showing the class how to use the markers.

When it comes to technology, I catch on quickly and can usually figure things out. There were many times throughout the semester when the person sitting next to me would need help. I would always be willing to help out my neighbors if they were ever confused. If there were times that we were both struggling, we worked together to figure it out.
