What is MLearning?

A simplistic definition: MLearning involves the "exploitation of ubiquitous handheld hardware, wireless networking and mobile telephony to facilitate, support, enhance and extend the reach of teaching and learning.”

To dive even further into Mobile Learning, we used our iPads to discover apps to engage children (grade K-6) and enhance their learning in different content areas through the use of technology. The major content areas that we are exploring are ELA, math, science, social studies and arts. Our focus is to discover ways to incorporate MLearning into our future classrooms to use as a learning and thinking tool for both ourselves and our children.
