Production #1: Drama
Our group (Me, Lindsy, Kayla and Stephanie) filmed a drama displaying the definition of the word "pettifog" which means to argue over something unimportant. We used iMovie on the iPad to make this production.

ANNOTATIONS:
1) Creators/Authors of the Media Project: Hannah Piron, Kayla Gessner, Lindsy Geery, Stephanie Castelli
2) Identified Grade Level: 3rd and up
3) Subject matter: Does integration of subject matters take place? Yes integration takes place because we show the definition of the word so the viewers can read it (this words for auditory learners). It also works for visual learners because we act out the meaning of the word.
What is the subject matter? ELA (definitions)
4) List one or two goals/objectives for this project:
-For the students to learn the definition of pettifog
-For the group members to learn how to use iMovie and all the features of it
-Learn how to share iMovie by publishing it on YouTube
5) Will this media project encourage use of problem solving skills by the learner?
-The movie does encourage problem solving because at the beginning of the movie it shows the word and definition and the viewers will be able to see how it is acted out and prime example of the use of the word
6) Universal Design For Learning (UDL)/Differentiation: explain how you will provide appropriate differentiation in your design to address learner variability so as to meet the needs of learners with different abilities, backgrounds, and motivations who do not meet the illusive criteria for 'average.'
-I will differentiate the learning by providing access to a computer or iPad to view the movie
