An extremely important aspect of education is the collaboration between teachers and parents or caregivers. As a future teacher, I would send home weekly newsletters to keep parents/caregivers informed of the class progress, upcoming events, field trips, exam dates and parent-teacher conference dates. Attached below is a  sample letter I would send home to parents welcoming them and their child to the 5th grade.
