Ponce, G. (Summers 2008-2011). Principal Investigator and Director for the Migrant Education Summer Academy. A total of $230,00 to offer academy to high school migrant students.



Ponce, G. (2008 – 2011). Principal Investigator and Director for the Imperial Valley Mathematics Project, a regional site for the California Mathematics Project. A total of $85,000 to provide services to meet the mathematical needs in Imperial County.



Ponce, G. (2008-2009). Co-Principal Investigator, Co-Director, and Faculty Advisor for the STRIVE Project. A total of $110,000 to support the development and success of new mathematics teachers.



Ponce, G. (2008-2009). Co-Director for the STAR Project. A total of $40,000 to support the integration of literacy in language arts, science, and mathematics at Blanche Charles Elementary School, Calexico, CA.



Ponce, G. (2008-2011). IV Campus Coordinator for the MSTI Project. A total of $40,000 to help increase the number of Mathematics and Science High School Teachers.



Ponce, G. (2004 – 2005). Principal Investigator and Co-Director for the English Language Development Institute in Mathematics Content (ELDI-MC). A total of $70,000 to train algebra teachers, grades 7 – 14, throughout Imperial County.
