Rationale:
Context: I did this project using the book Little Critter Goes To Camp. I used this book to show about plants, insects, snakes, and etc.
Impact: I will use this lesson to teach my students about animals, and the nature that is around them.
Alignment: I met standard 3 because I have a broad knowledge and understanding of the major concepts in science.
I met indicator 1 by having a knowledge of basic life science concepts including the characteristics of living things. By knowing that there is a diversity of organisms, and their different environments. By showing them the structure and function of a plants, animals, and their parts. I also did this by showing the relationship between humans, organisms, and the environment.
I met indicator 4 by having a knowledge of controversial issues and how they impact learning, including: evolution and genetics.
