After reading several different children’s literature stories and creating artifacts for them has not only expanded my future library, but has also given me a variety of ideas on how to incorporate these books and lessons into my classroom. Each genre of children’s literature has something new to offer and there is always a way to incorporate it into the classroom. It is crucial to educate students about other cultures and values, as well as realistic situations and the histories of others or historical events.
