This Web Quest corresponds to the California's Health framework expectation that 'Students will understand and accept individual differences in growth and development." It is designed for students from 5th through 12th grade.
For younger students, have them use the attached web sites for disabilities. For older students, you may want them to do their own searches for information.
All students would benefit from seeing an actual game of Chutes and Ladders. It can help them visualize the process, and all students may not be familiar with the game. Modifying the game for the disability of cerebral palsy may be too difficult for students below 8th grade, due to the technical nature of the information. Modifying the game for a student with epilepsy might be a better choice.
