Advanced Accounting typically has a smaller number of students which makes for an interesting blend of teaching and facilitating learning. Students will delve deeper into the different sections of the balance sheet and learn different aspects of financial and cost accounting. I feel it is important for students to investigate and explore different areas of the accounting field so they will be able to make informed decisions as to their career paths.

Students will also be encouraged to compete in invitational and district meets in accounting. This will possibly open doors to potential scholarship opportunities in the accounting field as well as give students the chance to learn to work as a cohesive unit while working towards a common goal.
