Who am I?

I am Mrs. Lois L. Richardson and am starting my twelfth year of teaching at Copperas Cove High School. I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in Business Administration and have additional post-graduation credit at Hardin Simmons University. I have taught previously at a private high school as well as at Alamo Community College District in San Antonio, TX. I have worked in the business world as an Investments Accountant with USAA as well as an Inventory Specialist with an international importing business. With a working knowledge of the business world, I feel that I have a little something extra to bring to the classroom as students study the academic side of the world of business and finance.

I hope students will master skills presented which will enable them to have a better foundation as they continue either in their studies or in the business world as they seek employment. The basics learned in accounting and BIM will give students a head start on their studies. Dollars and Sense is a type of personal finance course in which students will learn basics to help them to handle their finances now and later in life. The Principles of Business course has a touch of economics, finance, marketing, and business which makes it a wonder survey course for later studies in the business field.
