Praxis CORE (Core Academic Performance Assessment)

  • Visit http://www.ets.org/praxis/pa to register for the test.  You can register for individual modules or for all three modules.  Be sure that you look at the test times as you make your decision about how many tests to take a one time.
  • Testing dates are available on a continuous basis.
  • Testing centers are available nationally and internationally.  You can use the website to find the testing center closest to you.
  • If you test in Pennsylvania, your score report will be sent automatically to the Pennsylvania Department of Education.  If you test outside of Pennsylvania, select the Pennsylvania Department of Education (state code 8033) as a score recipient when you register or on an additional score report.  Also request that the score be sent to Cabrini College.
  • Testing accommodations are available for documented learning differences. 

 

PAPA (Pre-service Academic Performance Assessment)

  • Visit www.pa.nesinc.com to register for the test.  Pay careful attention to the test codes. 
  • Testing dates are available on a continuous basis.
  • Testing centers are available nationally.  You can use the website to find the closest testing center.
  • Be sure to request that your scores are electronically submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of School Leadership and Teaching Quality and to Cabrini College.
  • Select test fees and payment information for guidelines on how to request a fee waiver.  Criteria are not clear.  Note that very few waivers are granted.
