Portfolio Rationale
Context: I used many different things in the making of this web portfolio. I have used Internet Explorer, I movie, Microsoft Word, a digital camera, a video recorder, a DVD burner, and the knowledge of my classmates in my groups as well as myself. I have complied knowledge from many different areas to make this such as interviews from my Learner Diversity class, QWIK assessments from my reading class, math lesson plans from my math class, and all of the projects that I did in my Integrating Media and Technology into Teaching class. This shows all of my hard work and efforts that have been emitted throughout this semester into becoming the best possible teacher I can be.
Impact: There are many people who I hope to impact whenever they view my web portfolio. First and foremost, I want to impress the teachers that I have had this semester so that they can see what an excellent job they have done in preparing me for my own career. Mary Rogers especially because she is the one who has had helped me to make this web portfolio to organize all the lesson plans, projects, surveys, and interviews over the past semster. One day whenever I have a potential employer who wants to see my Teaching Portfolio to be very impressed with what they see! I want the children in my classroom to be able to go on this portfolio and be able to find assistance with their homework whenever they are outside the classroom, as well as parents finding ways to help their children, and finding important information that they may not be aware of. If nothing else, this portfolio is a great way for me to stay organized and keep together all the countless amounts of work that I have done so that is suitable for someone to look through!
