10,000 Ripples in Rogers Park is an art installation aiming to spark discussion about peace, art, and nonviolence and to encourage inter-faith dialogue in the Rogers Park community of Chicago, IL. We are using beautiful fiberglass "Emerging Buddha" sculptures created by Evanston artist Indira Johnson as symbols of change, hope, and peace. Placed within the urban environment of Roger's Park, we hope to create moments of tranquility and reflection in the lives of everyone who experiences the image. We invite the community to respond to the images in any way, and we look forward to hearing about their personal connection with the Buddhas.
