Candidates in the M.Ed. program are required to complete:
The candidate must meet with the graduate program coordinator to devise a study plan within the first semester of study whereby educational goals are planned and degree requirements are discussed. The study plan is a list of courses to meet degree requirements. Once the study plan is approved by the program coordinator, any subsequent changes must be approved by the aforementioned.
The program of study must not be less than 30 credit hours with a minimum of 18 credit hours of the entire program of study taken in 600-level courses, 9 credits of which must be in the area of concentration. Candidates will have six years from the time of their first course to complete their degree. Exceptions for extensions can only be provided by the graduate program coordinator and the director of graduate services.
