One of our main goals was to have more fun doing work that may not necessarily be fun. To make this inherently antagonistic game work, we had to define what working together meant, and how that enhances our ability to “defeat” the tasks. In it, we have explored deeper collaboration. Collaboration has allowed us to understand our audience better and produce greater quality work through the multiple perspectives offered by each group member. Through logos, and defined by well-timed kairos, our game evokes pathos for something that normally evokes apathy. The final product of our game is ultimately its ethos of teamwork. Central to the success of McGonigal’s ARG concept is the fact that the final product of our game has agency. Our work has not been for naught--it has contributed to elevating our coursework to a higher level of quality.
Unconditional victory means that we all will defeat above and beyond the 2nd Collective Task Empire. We have taken our own experiences to add agency to our work, learned from our allies improved writing techniques and knowledge. It has taken self and group reflection to strategize against our enemy, refocusing if necessary. We grew to trust each other as we boldly overtake the territories before us. We are winning, and the Casian States anticipate a joyous victory.
This has been a successful group project with great team mates. Each one of us is grateful for each other's hard work and dedication. Thank you
