Course Objectives:
Spanish 1-Pre IB is a course designed to bring students to an intermediate level of proficiency in the Spanish language. The course
focuses on Spanish grammar and emphasizes in particular listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The basic pedagogical tools
utilized in the course include: listening comprehension activities, individual and group oral work, in depth cultural study, readings,
audio, and video resources, and Web based language interaction. The class will be conducted in Spanish.
