The Master of Education in Educational Leadership program consists of a 36 semester-hour curriculum that includes various topics of interest to a future education administrtaor as well as an internship that extends over a full P-12 school year. The program is nationally recognized by the Education Leadership Constituent Council, Composed of three constituent member associations: ASCD, NAESP, and NASSP

The state of Louisiana requires the passing of a content knowledge test (e.g., Praxis II Content Test) as a condition of teacher leader certification.
