This is the first group of benchmark requirements:

If pursuing certification: you will upload the required documents as specified.

This will include the benchmark assessments from the following courses: EDU 536 & EDU 576. 

For each course, upload the benchmark assessment. Introduce the assignment by using TEXT to type a RATIONALE of how the assignment meets the selected standards. Be sure to use STANDARDS and select from the specified standards that apply to the assignment you have attached. Then, submit each benchmark assignment for evaluation.  Send your instructor an email URL notification.

Remember to add the Practicum Documents as an additional attachment.

You will also submit a specified number of content artifacts.

Handbook: Classroom Engagement and Management Plan

Create a handbook of your classroom engagement and management plan that will be handed out along with your Back-to-School/Open House presentation. This handbook should have your contact information. Support your handbook with 3-5 scholarly resources. Include the following:

1. Philosophy of classroom engagement and management
2. Rules, consequences, and reward system
3. Communication with parents
4. Student engagement strategies with classroom arrangements
5. Professionalism
6. Rationale for your classroom engagement and management plan

NOTE:  For a professional presentation please remember to include the Rationale and Standards that apply to this assignment
