National Domestic Violence Hotline The National Domestic Abuse hotline website provides extensive information about domestic abuse, including teen relationship abuse.

</A>teenpregnancy.org The goal of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is to reduce the rate of teen pregnancy by one-third between 1996 and 2005.
Poverty This website contains information on local and global poverty. This will help students gain perspective on poverty. Meeting #4: Hunger Banquet: Invite parents and students. Call media. Meeting #5: Serve at a soup kitchen and a homeless shelter. Meeting #6: Guest speaker: A cutting edge speaker who can get kids to recognize the dangers of drug use. Meeting #7: Volunteer at a children's hospital, reading books, playing games. Meeting #8: General reflection meeting. Plan holiday gift drive. Meeting #9: Sit in. This is a time to hold up signs to inform the school and community of the statistics of many issues that face us today. Students will hold signs with stats on them and sit quietly. Meeting #10: Gift wrap collected gifts for children. Meeting #11: Scrapbook the semesters events as a PowerPoint. Meeting #12: Present PowerPoint in assembly to entire school.
