  • Presented two read alouds with activities to a special education class.
  • Worked in small math groups and general assistance in the classroom.

Spring 2005 - Chandler Boys and Girls Club - 6 hours

  • Assisted students in the learning center with homework.
  • Assisted students with educational computer activities.

Fall 2004 – Techatholon at the Boys and Girls Club of Scottsdale - 5 hours

  • Worked at a table assisting students with mind puzzles.
  • Listened to a talk by Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard about internet safety for children</SPAN>

Fall 2004 - Service Learning at Brimhall Junior High School. Mesa, AZ - 20 hours
  • Presented a lesson on the history of technology to a computer foundations class.
  • Assisted students with independent book work in a seventh grade math class.
Spring 2004 - Service Learning at Longfellow Elementary School. Mesa, AZ - 20 hours
  • Taught a fifth grade class a lesson on the history of the American vote
