<font color=#000066>Child Development</font>

j0283884.gif Child Development is an education based class that gave me new insights and knowledge about the various developmental stages of children.  I created a research project that I presented to my peers about gifted children.  I also heard other presentations about such things as,the affect of child abuse, prenatal drug use, anesthetics during labor, and the controversy of Cochlear Implants.  I also created many projects, including a budget for expecting parents and observations of a toddlers physical and emotional characteristics while playing.  This class helped me gain a better understanding of the many stages of development and growth that children go through.  This knowledge will help me to be a more knowledgeable, more understanding teacher.
