Being able to crate attractive documents is very important as a future teacher. Microsoft Publisher has given me the tools I need to create newsletters, tri-fold brochures, web pages and e mails. I have created letterhead and business cards that I can use during my search for a teaching job. I will use Publisher in my classroom for many things and feel that it is a valuable tool in making a teacher’s job more efficient.
I created this good behavior sheet in Microsoft Publisher. I feel that children should be rewarded and parents should be aware when their children are behaving exceptionally well in school. It is designed with the tear off template. When the child does something in a positive way, I will have him or her, pull a tab and paste it on the above portion. When a child fills up a page, I will be sure to write a positive note on the page and send it home to the parent.
In order for me to present myself in a professional manner, I have created my own letterhead. This was done very easily in Microsoft Publisher using a letterhead template.
I created this webpage as a means to communicate with my student's parents. I have only created the Home Page as an example. When I have a classroom of my own, I will complete the entire web site.
Newsletters are a wonderful way to comminicate with parents. I have developed this newsletter as a way to explain the importance of Multicultural Literature. I have included favorite authors and important dates for parents to remember.
