I remember in the early 1980’s people said that computers were the wave of the future. The truth of that statement amazes me; there are very few things in our world that are not associated with computers. As I progress through my college education, I am pleased that a variety of computer courses are available. As a future teacher it is essential that I am proficient in technology and continue to develop computer skills throughout my career so I can be on the cutting edge of technology and have the ability to pass on my skills to my students. Through courses I have taken, I have begun developing computer skills needed to be proficient in the world of technology.
