The Paperless Classroom
A WebQuest for 6th graders
By: Carrie Seather
Computers are getting smaller and smaller as we move into the future of technology. The first computer was as large as our classroom and took several people to operate. Today we have computers that fit on our desks, in our backpacks and even in the palm of our hands.
Some schools have palm sized computers in the classroom for students to use. During this WebQuest, you will find out how these small computers can be useful in our classroom and how much it would cost to supply our room with these devices. Your budget is $10,000 to provide 35 Pocket PC computers to our class.
