Computer Science for Teacher Education Majors

OA1XXX45.jpg This was a wonderful class where I learned the important applications necessary for being proficient on the computer. During my computer science class I became skilled in using Microsoft programs like Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. I can easily see myself using these programs in my classroom to help me stay organized, and to create enticing lessons that stimulate my students. This class also gave me the opportunity to witness a computer foundations class through my service learning and I was able to see how students are learning to type in order to move on to more advanced computer classes. I have a better understanding of technology through this class and I have developed a desire to incorporate technology into my future classroom.
