| Context: </FONT> Created for CI 3750, Integrating Technology into Teaching, Spring 2008. Adapted under the advisement of Jeff Goodman, this newsletter was designed as a blueprint to use during student teaching. I designed this newsletter using Microsoft Word and incorporated clipart and digital photos as well. Impact on Student Learning: </FONT> I will use this newsletter communication tool. I will be able to introduce myself to students and parents, give classroom information, and request return responses/information. Alignment: </FONT> This unit meets the following NETS-T Technology Standards: Standard V.C: This standard was met by using Microsoft Word in creating the newsletter. As a future resource, I will refer to this same format only change the information. Eliminating the need to create a new newsletter every time will increase productivity and effectivness. Standard V.D: As a source of communication; this newsletter also contains my contact information (e-mail address). Since this is a Microsoft Word document not only can I send home copies I send it to parents via email. This unit meets the following NCDPI Standards: Standard 16, Indicator 3: I met this standard by providing the parents various options on how to get in touch with me. As a communication tool the newsletter also allows me to help involve the parents in their child's learning experience. |
