Students will be given a test over the unit 20 multiple choice questions and one open ended question. |
Students will be instructed to try all three levels of the website to determine their placement within the unit.
Day 3 students will be given access to the computer 10 questions to determine if they have achieved the rate of 7 out of 10. Students will print their passing scores as proof of mastery. Students who have showed mastery will be allowed to move forward through the two week unit.
Day 5-7 students will be given 10 word problems to determine if they have achieved the rate of seven out of 10. Each student will be allowed to move forward if meeting standards. Students who are not meeting standards will be remediated to help them move ahead.
Students who have shown mastery of the prior concepts will be given ten word problems and determine if they can achieve 70% proficiency. Day 5-7 students will be given 10 word problems to determine if they have achieved the rate of seven out of 10. Each student will be allowed to move forward if meeting standards. Students who are not meeting standards will be remediated to help them move ahead.

Furthermore, students will have an opportunity to choose one of two word problems to work out and show their skills.
